We believe that all people deserve to grow, progress, and have pathways to accomplish their dreams. We had people help remove barriers on the pathways to our dreams, we want to do the same for others.
From a library
Access to education is key to every human being. The library provides a place of knowledge for all classes of people, from children to adults. Having a library opens doors to endless opportunities of growth. Knowledge is immortal and once acquired it cannot be lost. The Teresa Oyiolo Library provides a center of learning for the whole community. This is the foundation of all our projects. Without access to knowledge it's very difficult to improve your community.
To clean water access
Easy access to fresh water is easy to become taken for granted - but it uplifts everyone with access. As of Feb 2023, we have dug 2 community solar powered boreholes. This uplifts hundreds (thousands? I haven’t done the exact math…) everyday.
To building classrooms
More classrooms equals more students and more teachers which leads to more children getting quality education. We took a stab at helping this be the norm for one school and built bathrooms, teachers office building and an extra class to double the amount of students that could attend.
Youth Empowerment
Youth and young adults thrive when there is availability of wholesome activities. We look for materials and items like soccer kits (cleats, Jersey..) and donate to different youth groups. We engage both male and female young adults in various activities.
Food security for the Holidays
They holidays can be stressful enough just trying to figure out what to cook even when you have a kitchen full of food. When you don’t have anything thing in your kitchen that makes life down right horrible. In December for the past couple years we have ensured that hundreds of families had food for their celebrations.
